Misbehaving

 I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting from this book but what I got I guess was more or less it in a way. So The First two books were about two different girls that come from a troubled home and the good guys they met,then you have the next two books about bad boys and the girls who chill them out.The fifth book was a sequel all about Cage York and Eva.So after all that I hear about this book and I'm thinking we have this book about a bad girl type and the rockstar brother. So while thats true it wasn't my favorite Sea Breeze book.

Jess has lived in this small town in Alabama her entire life. She is the daughter of a stripper.She a wild chick that we have seen a bit of in past books.Jason is the younger brother of a rock star looking to relax and have some fun. We met Jason in in the first book and in Preston and Amanda's book.The two meet in a very Carrie Underwood style and the sparks fly from there.Both charecters come across as a little bit lost and I like the fact that they seem to help the other one out thoughout the story.I adored Jess's mom and her life advice from Gilmore Girls.The final words of from her about Gilmore Girls at the end are priceless.If you like steady/steamy sories with love Misbehaving is for you.

What I liked was that we get  glimpses of all the old characters from past books and get to see where there at just a bit.We also get to more details about character that for the most part were just names brought up now and then like Krit!!We were introduced to Krit in Because of Low when he shamelessly flirted with Low and then in Misbehaving we got to see more of him.We also get more of him in Abbi's next book Bad For You!!
The cover is a bit risque and fits perfectly with the story,however I kinda wish the book had to covers like the first four books.One risque cover and one mellow but still eye catching cover.Alas it seems like the risque covers are the main ones now.While some say that Misbehaving was nothing different…Too cliché … Always been that same old story…I think that the Sea Breeze books are always enjoyable to 3/5

Amanda Hardy wished her knees didn’t get weak when Preston walked into a room. She hated the fact her heart raced when he flashed his smile in her direction. He had a different girl in his bed every night. He was the kind of boy a smart girl ran from. So, why was she coming up with ways to get close to him? Even when it was obvious he wanted to keep her at a distance.

Maybe her heart knew something the world didn’t. Maybe Preston Drake was more than just a pretty face

So I’m a big fan of the Sea Breeze series but Just For Now fell flat for me. The series starts sweet with Breathe then started getting slightly cliche-after Because of Low- in a bad way. If the Sea Breeze series has a formula then this is it...Boy meets Girl. They fall in love. One person is reluctant to the relationship.Passionate Kiss or Sex. Person gets over reluctance. Shocking Twist.Angst.Issue Resolved.Sex.

We read about Sadie and Jax,Marcus and Low,then Cage and Eva. Now we get to see the story about Preston and Amanda. Preston Blake is a ladies man plain and simple kinda like Cage York but minus the bad boy edge.He is known for one night stands but is  also a wonderful brother, a loyal friend and athlete who lives a hard hard life. He also hides a pretty big secret. Amanda Hardy is Marcus's little sister she's kind and sweet she also happen to have a huge crush on Preston her brothers best friend.

In Just for Now they get together and try to figure out exactly what love is and what it means for them to together.The story was pretty good but at time Amanda seemed a bit to naive this may not be my favorite story in the series but it's pretty good.The charecters were all well thought out and realistic and I pretty much love Rock and Tris because of Just for Now.I'm no going to lie it would be interesting to find out Rock's back-story.

I like the cover and to me it fit the book and story pretty well.I will definitely continue on with the Sea Breeze Series and I hope the next book is about Jessie and Jax's younger brother. The first two books seemed to be about the guy getting the shy girl with family issues. Then the next two focused on bad boys so it will be cool if a Bad girl got a chance to shine plus Jason Stone seemed sweet. Just for Now may not be my favorite Sea Breeze novel but it had it's moments. 2/5

Oh -- and an uptight, snarky brunette with the biggest blue eyes he’s every seen. But she doesn’t count, because as hard as he’s tried to charm her out of her panties - he’s pretty sure she’d rather see him hung from the rafters than let him get a taste of her pretty little lips

So ever since reading Breathe and the Vincent Boy series  I've become hooked on Abbi Glines books.

Breathe was a heart warming  tale about Sadie and Jackson,Because of Low was heartbreaking story about Marcus and Willow with some twist and turns,and While It Lasts is an intense story about Cage and Eva. 

Cage York who's described as a sexy bad boy and Eva who's a sweet farm girl who is dealing with a lot emotionally. In Because of Low Cage was introduced as this womanizing man whore with a protective streak when it came to Low. In While it Lasts we learn that Cage York is more then a man whore with a big dose of bad boy edge he is loyal,caring, and deep down has a heart of gold for his loved ones

While it Lasts takes place not to long after Because of Low;Cage has recently received a DUI and is helping out at a farm that belongs to a friend of his coach. While down on the farm he meets the farmers hot daughter Eva who instantly takes a dislike to Cage. Eva has been though a lot because of the lose of her finace and Cage York seems like the last guy she'd ever consider being with.Despite the fact that they both have loads of emotinal baggage this odd pair balances each other out for the better.The charecter are well written and we get a glimpse of the Jax and Sadie and(My Faves) Willow and Marcus.

The cover gives that country feel of someone looking out onto the farm.It ties in to the story perfectly you can just imagine Cage sweaty just waiting for Eva and her lemonade after working hard in the sun. This book is a little more racy then the previous books but fans of Abbie Glines and new readers will definitely enjoy this book.I would recommend this book to anyone but it's better suited for a older teen audience 17 or up.Also despite the fact that all of Albi Glines books in the Sea Breeze series seem to all follow the same cheesy and sometime cliche formula I can't get enough of them.3/5

Because of Low

Marcus Hardy had hoped to enjoy a year away at college while he put the summer he’d rather forget behind him. But instead, he’s jerked right back to the coastal town of Sea Breeze, Alabama due to a family crisis. His dear ol' dad found himself a girlfriend only a few years older than Marcus. So now his sister needs help dealing with their mother who is mentally falling apart. The only bright spot to returning is the fascinating red head who sleeps over several times a week. The problem is she's sleeping in bed with his new roommate, Cage Watson. 

 Willow “Low” Foster needs a place to live. Running to Cage’s apartment every time her sister kicks her out isn’t exactly a long term solution. Juggling her courses at the local community college and a part time job doesn’t produce excess income. But Cage has a new roommate and suddenly sleeping over at her best friend’s apartment isn’t such a bad thing. Not when she gets to see those sexy green eyes of Marcus Hardy’s twinkle when he smiles at her like he wants her there. 

 Cage seems a little territorial where Low is concerned, Marcus finds time to spend with Low without upsetting his roommate. Cage is under the disillusion that when he’s through sowing his wild oats, he’s going to marry Low. Marcus intends to change that assumption for both Cage and Low. Until his carefully laid plans come crashing down with a revelation he never expected. He’ll have to choose between Low or his family.

  Because once the truth comes out.... there’s no other choice

I absolutely loved breathe it was a sweet and touching story,so when i found out that there was going to be a spinoff i was more than excited.Because of Low comes after Breathe and  it centers around Marcus this time. In the previous story, Marcus didn't get the girl(Sadie) so im glad he gets his own story.

Marcus lost his chances with Sadie and he was heartbroken after that summer he went off to school but had to come back for family reasons.He meets Low and then everything chances,Marcus was still as sweet as ever and the rest of the characters i thought were well written. Preston, Dewayne, Rock and Trisha are some characters that helped with comic relief when thing got a bit to intense and i hope we get to see more of them in the next book.They seemed believable and genuine in the story. Low was a intense but sweet and innocent character who had Cage wrapped around her finger.Cage York was the opposite  to Marcus.He was tough and grew up in a rough way. He was a good-hearted guy  beneath the tough exterior and man whoreish ways.

The cover  was lovely and the splash of red made the cover pop.Because of Low is a bittersweet kind of book and i adored it.I can't wait for the next book in the Sea Breeze series.4/5
