  2. Lemony Snicket- The Unfortunate Events Series I bought all of the books at the scholastic book fair in elementary school
  3. Abbi Glines- I'm addicted to book he Sea Breeze and Rosemary Beach book series.
  4. Gayle Forman- I recent bought Just One Day and Just One Year plus my Co-counselor from camp bought me If I Stay for my Birthday just a week ago!
  5. John Green- I own like 4 of his books that I really enjoy.
  6. Cassandra Clare- The Infernal Devices Series and the first 3 books from the Mortal Instruments series I want to own her whole series.
  7. Stephan King- Most of the books I own from him were given to me. I own quite a few of his books but have only read one of them.
  8. Lauren Oliver- Two books from the Delium trilogy her book Before I Fall.
So there you go I own plenty of books but I don't have many books by the same author. I have a lot of book series' or trilogy I would like to own but I usually only buy the first own and maybe the second then check out the rest from the library or borrow the books from a friend

The Bookish Side At Camp (Part 1)

So this summer I worked at an all girls summer camp that I'm Just going to call Camp K. It was an awesome experience and I loved meeting all the campers and working with the people that I did, this was my second year working at Camp K and I'm glad I went back. Something that I noticed this year that I didn't notice last year was the abundance of books certain campers brought with them. One campers brought 8 books with her and by the time the 2 week session was done she read at least 5 of them!! Another Campers brought almost the same amount of books with her and finished half of them plus borrowed other campers books to read and finished those.

As an avid book reader I was impressed by the variety of books I saw being read throughout the camp. I was also impressed by the dedication to reading a lot of the campers had, seriously if it would have been allowed some of these girls would have never but their books down. However as a camp counselor it was frustrating at times when I had to get girls to interact and engage with one another and all they wanted to do was read. O_o We were outdoors and sometime it was like pulling teeth to get girls to appreciate the fact that they were at camp surrounded by nature or join in on team discussions. I encourage reading but there's a time and place for everything and for the most part camp wasn't the right place....unless it was Chill time or Siesta

The age range for the campers at Camp K is from 9 to 15 and then you had the CIT's who are 16.For those of you wondering CIT stands for counselor in training, essentially the CIT's were 60% camper and 40% counselor they were learning the ropes to become a counselor while enjoying the perks of being a camper for one last time. .Once you moved on to the staff the ages varied from 17 to 24.The youngest was the one junior counselor who was 17.

So with all that said,Camp K had girls/woman ranging from 9 to 24..that's a pretty broad spectrum for books. What I loved was that you had a 9yr old reading Little Women,an 11yr old reading Carrie by Steven King,a CIT reading a book on complex math theories and the mysteries of math and almost all the "adult" counselors reading a variety of young adult books. It was super interesting to see the variety of books my fellow staff was reading and the campers as well.I decided that sometime in the near future I'm going to make a post with a list of books I saw the campers and staff reading. This post is pretty was my lead in for that post.

I was going to included the list of books in this post but the intro just grew and grew.I probably could talk/write nonstop about the campers, camp and my experience at Camp K but I decide to stick to the bookish side of camp.Stay tuned for my next post The Bookish Side At Camp K (Part 2).

Also feel free to share your favorite camp memory if you were a camper or Counselor!!!!! :)
P.S Shout out to any camper from Camp K who stumbles across my blog. You rock!!

Sometimes It Last

Title:Sometimes It Last (Sea Breeze Series Book 5)
Author: Abbi Glines

Cage York has to choose between a love of the game and a love of the girl in this sultry Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines.

After waiting for his big break, bad boy Cage York is finally called up to prove his worth in the college baseball arena. But when Cage’s girlfriend, Eva, mourns the sudden loss of her father, it’s not Cage’s comforting arms she runs to, but those of her former fiancĂ©’s twin brother, Jeremy.

Torn between his baseball dream and the girl of his dreams, Cage must prove he’s worthy of Eva’s love, or risk losing her to Jeremy forever

**************************

We first met  Cage York in Because of Low he's  described as a sexy bad boy. Then in While it Lasts we learn he's more than a womanizing man whore. In While it Lasts we learn that Cage York  is loyal, caring, and  has a heart of gold for his loved one while still being a little rough around the edges. We learn all this  because he met  Eva who's a sweet farm girl who was dealing with a lot emotionally. Though ups and down they came together and find love in one another. He helps her move on from her past relationship and she does the same for him in regards to sleeping around.

Sometimes It Last is basically the Cage and Eva's story continued, Eva and Cage are happily in love and making plans on starting a new life together in Tennessee, when tragedy strikes. Eva must remain in Alabama, and she makes Cage go off to college to fulfill his dreams without her. Over time, the distance takes its toll, and the two find themselves where they never thought they would be: apart.

With all that said when I started to read Sometimes I last I was not expecting the shock I got from that first chapter.I was confused and i read the book straight though I had to know what happened and why. That prologue just about killed me...The story was actually what you'd expect from Abbi Glines heartbreaking, sweet with a couple steamy scenes i love it,even id Eva bothered the heck out of me this book.It was good to see old characters return though in this one and especially share the happy event Low and Marcus experienced. All in all, the story itself wasn't a disappointment.

The cover like all the rest after the fourth is a bit sexy and sweet and fits in with the story perfectly. All in all for a sequel I really liked Sometimes it Last even with Eva being annoying and the grammar mistakes and typos. I also think Jeremy deserves his own book if he doesn't have one already. Asap! Even if he's not from Sea Breeze maybe his and Eva town needs a series.;) 4/5
