#BlogTour #Review:: Hallow by Olga Gibbs

Hallow
Author: Olga Gibbs
Genre : YA, Fantasy, Angels
Publication Date : May 1st, 2019
Available Formats : PDF, Epub

Being one of the most formidable archangels with the power to end the world doesn't serve you well if you don't know how to use it.

Thrown into a battle of courts and factions, tangled in a web of intrigues and palatial games, naïve Ariel is surrounded by powerful angels, chasing their own agendas.

There's no one she can trust. Everyone stands to gain something from her death.

To avoid the bloody battle that Baza brought to her door at Uras, Ariel retreats back to Apkallu (Earth) to find her sister, but the Heavenly battles and intrigues she flees follow her, as Baza's immense hold on Apkallu forces Ariel and Rafe to make uncomfortable choices.

Ariel's fight for survival is far from over and it looks like it's going to be a deadly one.

My thoughts..
Whew! I've had the pleasure of joining one of the most interactive blog tours, ever! Olga has been nothing short of A-MEEZING! Olga's been there with us, those who are apart of her blog tour, since the cover reveal in February!! I'm not even sure, how to explain it! She has been a great help, and it's been awesome having Olga in our corner. Whenever we've had questions, concerns, or needed to be encouraged or needed to vent Olga has been there. Literally, right with us. Olga has promoted our blogs, posted about our random posts..I've never had an author be so kind, and courteous. Olga, I just want you to know that this been thee best #blogtour I've worked with. Thank you, for allowing me to be apart of your journey for #CelestialCreatures!!
Now, let's get into Hallow! If you haven't please read Hollow, it's the first book in the series. Ariel has returned to Earth, after spending time with creatures she didn't know existed, and fighting a battle that she doesn't want to fight. Ariel returns home with Rafe, who happens to be her bodyguard, and was once the soulmate of the angel, whose essence she now inhabits...You can imagine, the situations Ariel, and Rafe get themselves into lol! All Ariel wants to do, is find her human sister, that she was promised would be protected from danger, and enemies alike. Unlike Heavenword, Hollow focuses on Ariel becoming "Ariel with the essence of an Angel", she is coming to terms with herself, her new life, and that she is a powerful being with a new purpose. We get to see how Ariel adapts, and realizes that she has to be strong but how can you be strong when you haven't dealt with past issues, that keep resurfacing... Ariel is so strong, she just doesn't know it until she is forced to pick herself up. Ariel learns that, you have to keep moving, and sometimes we are thrown into our destinies.
My favorite books, are those where I can imagine myself as the protagonist. I see myself in Ariel, but I'm not sure that I would be able to be as great as her. When I fall into the pits of mind, it takes sometime for me to "pick myself up" but not Ariel. She sees what she has to do, and who she needs to be, and becomes that person. I wish we all had the strength of Ariel. Olga, you've done an amazing job! I can't wait to read for the next book!! My rating 5/5!!!
