not alone. She’s armed with her vital potions, a too-cute pig, and

The synopsis is slightly misleading I thought it was going to be all bad-ass and angst filled but it wasn't it was
a fun adventure-fantasy with murder, intrigue, and potions. As if that
wasn’t enough, there’s a sweet romance mixed in as well -without the cliche love triangle-and don’t
forget about the adorable pig. Despite the fact that the story wasn't what I thought it would be I definitely enjoyed.
The story is about Kyra who is a member of she is a master posineer who's on the run after trying to kill her based friend and Queen.
Kyra is the type of female main character that I adore she brave,snarky/hilarious and a good friend. What I really liked about her character was that she made mistakes and yeah at times she trusts the wrong people or doesn't trust the right ones but regardless she tried to do the right thing...even if the right think was killing her best friend. Then theres Fred the love interest who I started to like right away the romance between him and Kyra was cue and slow.It wasn't all in your face and unbelievable it was a shock from the usaul type of ya romance i read in adventure/fantasy stories.
I absolutly adored Rosie the pig at frist i thought the pig aspect was going to be silly or annoying and a burden, but it wasn't like that at all.If only real pig were as likeable as Rosie. The story was filled with twist and turns and just when I though the plot reached the climaxt there were a few more twists that were no less shocking. The ending will surly surprise you.I'm glad i gave this book a chance and I suggest everyone else give it a try.3/5
